During the course, you will learn the following for Manual Lathes and Mills:
- Health and Safety, awareness of risks and safe operating procedures.
- Appropriate PPE and Safe Working Techniques.
- Components of each machine and their controls.
- Basic work holding with Machine Vice and 3 Jaw Chuck.
- Basic cutting techniques, milling, OD turning and Drilling using manual and feed controls.
- Use of coolant.
- Reinstating machine after use.
